WildWorks (formerly Smart Bomb Interactive) is a game development studio based in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The company has been assembled from game industry veterans, designing innovative and original titles for gamers of all ages and across all platforms, including home consoles, PCs and handheld devices.[1]

Animal Jam, a popular virtual world for kids. Partnered with the National Geographic Society, users can explore the world of Jamaa while learning facts about animals and the environment. The game offers an abundance of interactive educational resources for kids, teachers and parents. Users can chat in a moderated environment, decorate their dens (homes), become their favorite animals, dress their virtual characters up with multiple accessories, trade for different items and play lots of educational mini-games. In early 2016, Animal Jam was named the fastest growing game site in the US with over 50 million users registered worldwide.[2]

In 2015, WildWorks released a 3D mobile app version of Animal Jam called Animal Jam - Play Wild. It was announced in 2016 Animal Jam - Play Wild received over one million downloads despite having no paid user acquisition. Play Wild! has been the number one downloaded iPad game for kids 9-11 in 35 countries, the number one downloaded iPad educational game in 20 countries, and the number one top grossing iPad game for kids 9-11 in 54 countries.

The company is the developer of Bombshell, an engine and toolset for the development of high-fidelity interactive entertainment. The company is privately held and has received first-round funding from the Canopy Group.[3][4]
