William A. Bugh

William Augustus Bugh (July 29, 1823 – August 19, 1875) was an American lawyer.
Born in Somerset, Ohio, Bugh graduated from the Indiana University law school. He then moved to Wisconsin and eventually settled in Berlin, Wisconsin, where he practiced law and was the editor of the local newspaper. During the American Civil War, he served in the 5th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment and was badly wounded. In 1866, Bugh served in the Wisconsin State Assembly. He was then appointed postmaster of Berlin, Wisconsin serving until his death in Berlin, Wisconsin.[1][2]
