William J. Carson Jr. (born December 24, 1950) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Delaware House of Representatives since January 13, 2009 representing District 28.[1]
Education
Carson graduated from Smyrna High School.[2]
Elections
- 2012 Carson was unopposed for the September 11, 2012 Democratic Primary and won the November 6, 2012 General election with 6,104 votes (71.1%) against Republican nominee Christopher Sylvester.[3]
- 2008 When Democratic Representative Bruce Ennis ran for the Senate District 14 seat and left the House District 28 seat open, Carson was unopposed for both the September 9, 2008 Democratic Primary and the November 4, 2008 General election, winning with 7,198 votes.[4]
- 2010 Carson was unopposed for the September 17, 2010 Democratic Primary, and won the November 2, 2010 General election with 4,534 votes (67.7%) against Republican nominee Karen Minner.[5]
