William G. Wheeler was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin.

Biography

Wheeler was born on November 11, 1861 in La Prairie, Wisconsin.[1] He graduated from high school in Janesville, Wisconsin. Wheeler died on July 3, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois.[2]

Career

Wheeler was District Attorney of Rock County, Wisconsin from 1891 to 1895. He was later elected to the Assembly in 1896 and 1898.[3] From 1901 to 1909, he served as U.S. Attorney of the Western District of Wisconsin.
