William V. Belanger, Jr. (born October 18, 1928) is an American former politician in the state of Minnesota. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. An alumnus of University of St. Thomas, Belanger was an employee at Honeywell Defense Systems. He was a Minnesota state senator from District 38 from 1981 to 1982, District 41 from 1982 to 2002, and District 40 from 2003 to 2006.[1] He is married with seven children.
