Sierra de los Caracoles wind farm.

Wind power in Uruguay generates a small but rapidly growing proportion of the country's electricity.[1] Projections consider that, at the end of 2016, Uruguay could become the country with the largest energy coverage with wind power.[2]

  • Peralta wind farm, located in Tacuarembó Department[4]
