World Rugby Men's Sevens Player of the Year

The World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year is awarded by the International Rugby Board in the autumn each year. It was first awarded in 2004. Until 2008 the award was called the IRB International Sevens Player of the Year. From 2009 until 2013, it was the IRB Sevens Player of the Year. Since 2014, following the International Rugby Board becoming World Rugby, the award has been titled the World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year.
