Wydawnictwo MAG (Polish for: MAG publishing house), founded in 1993 by Jacek Rodek, is a Polish publishing house responsible for the first Polish publications concerning role-playing games. It has been known for publishing Magia i Miecz, the first role-playing games-oriented magazine in Poland, which was one of the key contributors in popularising RPGs in Poland. It had released several translations of foreign role-playing games, such as Warhammer, Earthdawn and Fading Suns, published Polish original RPGs, such as Kryształy Czasu and Wiedźmin - Gra Wyobraźni, and tabletop games, most notably Doomtrooper and Kult collectible card games. Afterwards, it turned solely to fiction. Currently, MAG is one of the leading publishers of science-fiction and fantasy literature in Poland, focusing mainly on translations, but also it publishing books by well-known Polish writers, such as Feliks W. Kres.
