Yangsan Jin clan (Korean양산 진씨; Hanja梁山 陳氏) is one of the Korean clans. Their Bon-gwan is in Liangshan County, Shandong, China. Their founder was Jin Bo jae [ja] who was originally from Mount Liang, China. He worked as a civil servant in Yuan dynasty but lived in retirement. After his demise, he was awarded Imperial Chancellor (Hanja: 丞相), and he was given posthumous name, Wenlie (Hanja: 文烈), during Ming dynasty period. When Chen Li, Jin Bo jae [ja]’s grandchild, entered Goryeo, Gongmin of Goryeo bestowed Nobi on Chen Li. Chen Li’s descendant made Liangshan County their Bon-gwan and founded Yangsan Jin clan. Liangshan County was a hometown of Chen Li’s ancestors.[1][2]
