Yao Jen-to (Chinese: 姚人多; pinyin: Yáo Rénduō) is the Deputy Secretary-General to the President of the Republic of China since 10 August 2016.[1]

Early life

Yao obtained his bachelor's degree in sociology from National Taiwan University and doctoral degree from University of Essex in the United Kingdom.

Political career

Yao had been working as the security adviser to President Tsai Ing-wen. He assisted Tsai in promoting transitional justice in Taiwan. On 10 August 2016, he was appointed to be the Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidential Office.[2]
