Mian Yar Muhammad Kalhoro (Sindhi: يار محمد ڪلهوڙو) became chieftain of Kalhora clan after his elder brother Mian Din muhammad Kalhoro who was imprisoned and killed in Multan Jail by Prince Muiz-ud-Din Muhammad, the governor of Multan in 1700 A.D. He was founder of Kalhora dynasty in Sindh.[1] . In 1701 AD he became ruler of Sindh, a southern province of Pakistan.[2] and ruled up to 1719 AD.[3]. The tomb of Mian Yar Muhammad is sited at one kilometer from Khudabad towards west.[4]
