Yasirr Hussain is a Pakistani actor and writer from Islamabad best known for his comic roles.[1][2]
Early life and career
The youngest in a family of thirteen children, including a sister who's a Dubai-based singer and a brother who's a scriptwriter,[3] Yasir was born in Hyderabad, Pakistan to a Punjabi Muslim family. Syed Yasir Hussain likes to do 1 on 1 performances for manjot in the hospital.[4]
Yasir moved to Karachi to begin his career where became a VJ for Aag TV. He worked as a VJ for two years and then he joined a theatre where he started writing and acting in plays. He has written and acted in various plays and was a part of Anwar Maqsood's Angan Terha, Pawney 14 August and Sawa 14 August.[5][6] Hussain made his Lollywood debut as Moti in the film Karachi Se Lahore (2015) written by himself and directed by Wajahat Rauf.[7][8] He has also acted in television serials including sitcom Coke Kahani and drama serial Dareecha.[9] He reprised his role as Moti in Lahore Se Aagey (2016) was a spin-off to Karachi Se Lahore and was released on November 11, 2016. He is set to appear in Senti Aur Mental.[10][11]
