Yeşilköy is a village in the Pazar District, Rize Province, in Black Sea Region of Turkey.[1] Its population is 96 (2021).[2] Rize–Artvin Airport is located in this village.

History

According to list of villages in Laz language book (2009), name of the village is Cumbat. Most villagers are ethnically Laz.[3]

Geography

The village is located 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) away from Pazar.
