Zanjanrud-e Pain Rural District (Persian: دهستان زنجانرودپائين) is a rural district (dehestan) in Zanjanrud District, Zanjan County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population (including Nik Pey, which was subsequently detached from the rural district and promoted to city status) was 9,629, in 2,326 families; excluding Nik Pey, the population (as of 2006) was 9,202, in 2,207 families.[1] The rural district has 43 villages.
