Zics is a village in Somogy hills/county, Hungary, with a population of roughly 400 residents.

The town is dominated by agriculture. Larger businesses are not there. The surrounding area is quite hilly.
There is a baroque, Roman Catholic Church from 1786, a Townhall, a medical treatment station, a children's garden, a discount store, a pub and small workshops.
- and last but not least, we are in Hungary, a beautiful fishing pond.
Up to the southern shore of Lake Balaton there are about 20 km. The wildlife in the surrounding area is quite high, everywhere you see deer, wild boar, foxes and sometimes a thick canopy.
The landscape is broken by stands of trees on roadsides. The townscape is dominated by mud houses and everywhere there are vines.

This place/region is in Western European retirees, popular as a retirement home.
