P.S. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :)
Thanks for the Welcome msg Sango!! :-) How will I post a new reply to this posting of yours?
- You can leave messages on people's talk pages by
- going to the page. (in this case User talk:Sango123)
- clicking on the "edit this page" link at the top of the page.
- going down to the bottom of the page, and typing.
- when you are done, entering a summary of your edit in the box labeled "Edit summary"
- then, pressing the "Save page" button.
- When editing talk pages, it is good practice to begin with a section break (which looks ==like this==) containing the subject of your comment(i.e. "Thanks from [[User:Bkris|Bkris]]"), and it's fine to use something like "reply" or "thanks" as the edit summary. Did you take this picture? If so, it is very important that you state this when uploading it. Otherwise, other Wikipedians won't know where it came from, and it will have to be deleted. If you did not take it, then we need to know where you found it, and you need to verify with them that they release all rights to it, and provide us with some type of proof of this. It's a nice picture, I really hope we can use it. Thanks! JesseW, the juggling janitor 05:32, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, it seems that you updated the info on the picture just as I was leaving you this message. Cool. Enjoy your time at Wikipedia! JesseW, the juggling janitor 05:33, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi JesseW, Thanks for the compliments. I thought the snap I took last year would add some info to the RockCity Page of Wikipedia. Is it okay if I can upload snaps taken by me over here? If so, can you just give me a gist of rules I need to comply to? - Bkris (2nd Jan, 2006, 00:42 EST)
Image copyright problem with Image:Map_theni.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Map_theni.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 12:43, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. RC Patrol-related Proposals in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey
[edit]Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!
This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:
- Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
- Editor-focused central editing dashboard
- "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
- Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
- Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list
Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)
Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.
Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
