Thank you so much for helping to clarify the Lewis Marnell page—much appreciated.--Soulparadox (talk) 06:32, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

And thank you for uploading and giving permission for the use of that photo. Also much appreciated. Stalwart111 06:52, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@Stalwart111: The photo has been deleted from the Wikimedia Commons. Apparently there was something wrong with the licensing. [1]rybec 13:31, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

, @Rybec: Why would the photo be removed if I took it myself? @Stalwart111: can you help? Thanks Jmarnell (talk) 02:00, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for responding. I don't know exactly what the problem was (I can't see because I'm not an administrator). When you uploaded it, you might not have written that it was your own work. I'll ask on Commons that it be temporarily undeleted. I may ask you to go there to fill in the licence information. Sorry about the hassle. —rybec 02:10, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I asked the administrator and he wants you to go through OTRS; it involves sending an e-mail as described at commons:Commons:Email templates. Sorry. —rybec 13:25, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Rybec:, does the image need to be free for people's commercial use? Jmarnell (talk) 05:15, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't want to allow that, you could upload it here, rather than to Commons. Files with such a restriction can't go on Commons. —rybec 05:21, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
