Mulan

[edit]

I'm not getting this edit. Is there anything left in that article to verify? Cheers, theFace 23:32, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

in reply: Hmm... one editor did add an IMDb link once, indicating that an entry may have once existed, but I can't recall seeing it. That said, The Hollywood Reporter provided pretty definite evidence that the movie was almost certainly coming, mentioning producers, large investments, a casting call, advertisements for roles, a Disney spokeswoman, many other sources, and a deadline for the filming. Strange that we still haven't heard anything of it, except for an alleged officially released poster (first known online appearance, other sources who copied it). It looks dull, and fake (is that woman in the picture actually Zhang Ziyi?), which is why I didn't add it to the article. On the other hand, it may have been something the producers threw out just to break the silence, to indicate that the project was going slow but was still in motion. But that's speculation.
Technically, you are correct: the article does not verify that the film is still in production. But I don't think it's possible to verify that. There hasn't been any news to write about. I guess there's nothing we can do at this point, except for removing the "currently in production" sentence in the lead. Cheers, theFace 10:14, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mulan / Commons

[edit]

Hi again. I just removed the refimprove template and one sentence from Mulan (2011 film). I hope that's ok.

Besides, I just did a quick browse through your edits, and you seem to be doing good work. Thanks! If you have time left, you might want to consider re-uploading File:Modrudalur.jpg and File:Modrudalurpanorama.jpg to Commons, a repository of free media. If your global account is enabled (check your preferences), you should have a Commons account by default.

Once you re-uploaded your pictures, you can have the copies on the English Wikipedia deleted by tagging them with either {{Db-f8}} or {{Now Commons}}. Cheers, theFace 19:40, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
