Hi! Thanks for the welcome, I have actually made edits as far back as 3 years ago though, so whilst I am not exactly new, it is nice to have my contribution, however small, recognized. Don't worry, I intend to stay - Wikipedia is by far the website I frequent the most (along with BBC News) - I have a thirst for knowledge that cannot be sated!

Kind Regards,

Whoops, yes I'm sorry, you've been around twice as long as I have, what a shame no-one got around to giving you a welcome post earlier. I share your motivation of being here with a thirst for knowledge, and as a consequence have recently started reading and occasionally tweaking or commenting at WP:FAC where we evaluate articles that are being considered as Wikipedia Featured Articles - you might want to check it out for yourself. File source problem with File:Stuartfox.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Stuartfox.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:57, 17 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 17:57, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:45, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
