OriginalSpring Scattering Stars is a 1927 allegorical painting by American artist Edwin Blashfield. It depicts a nude female personification of spring on a wet moon scattering stars throughout the sky. The painting was sold by the Heritage Auctions to a private collection.
Reason
One of the largely forgotten paintings, but a good digitization had been made before it was auctioned. Discovered by chance when I googled for other nude stuff.
