Reason: This image has high EV, as it illustrates many of the important distinguishing characteristics of the mushroom: the silky threads on the cap surface; the crowded, pinkish gills; the volva at the base of the slightly curved stipe; and the typical substrate–clefts or knotholes on tree trunks.
