Wikipedia:GLAM/Royal Library of Belgium/WLA 2016

On Saturday 27 August 2016 a photography session and a Wikipedia writing session (edit-a-thon) is organised at the Royal Library of Belgium as part of Wiki Loves Art in Belgium in 2016. The edit-a-thon is inspired by the 100 Brussels museum days in what 100 masterpieces from Brussels are highlighted. Seven of these 100 artworks are located in the Royal Library in Brussels.

Program[edit]

  • 11:00-11:10 welcome at the education unit of the Royal Library
  • 11:10-12:00 tour of the Librarium and behind the scenes
  • 12:00-12:45 lunch, sandwiches
  • 12:45-13:30 introduction Wikipedia/Wikimedia
  • 13:30-15:50 writing session
  • 15:45-16:00 end
