Fathead is a brand name of life-sized, precision-cut vinyl wall graphics manufactured by Fathead LLC. Fathead LLC is a privately held company based in Los Angeles, California. The ownership group is led by Chris Hetherington, who is the CEO and former NFL player; Jason Turner as COO, Jen Beaver as Chief Partnerships Officer and Mehul J.D. as CTO. Fathead has been the undisputed industry leader in officially licensed graphic decals. Fathead provides innovation-fueled physical and digital products that bring fans closer to what they love. From sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL), to entertainment (Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Hasbro, Nickelodean, Paramount, NBCU), Fathead enjoys relationships with the world’s most prominent, impactful properties and characters. History
[edit]In 2023, Fathead was acquired by a dynamic leadership team, consisting of former NFL player, Chris Hetherington, CEO; Jason Turner, COO; Jen Beaver and Chief Partnership Officer. Soon after the acquisition, the team acquired an XR tech platform called Varaverse and added Mehul J.D. as CTO. Prior to that In 2006, a group of investors, led by Dan Gilbert, founder of Quicken Loans, had purchased Fathead, Inc[1] Fathead was brought to Gilbert's attention by the company's president Todd Lunsford, then Quicken Loans’ Chief Marketing Officer, after Todd's son saw a commercial and wanted to order a Tom Brady Fathead.[citation needed]Today, Fathead, LLC is one of the threads in a large family of properties in the sports and entertainment market, including the National Basketball Association's Cleveland Cavaliers, the American Hockey League's Cleveland Monsters, Quicken Loans Arena, Xenith, Xeko and Veritix.[citation needed]
