Teotia

Teotia "Tewatia" "Tiwathia" Originally Shivi is a gotra (clan) of Jat people in India which were the rulers & founders of Ballabhgarh kingdom. Currently, the village Atali in Faridabad district is the residence of erstwhile ruling family with the 18th century fort still in existence.The area in Village atali where erstwhile royal family resides is called as “Garh or Gadh”. And, erstwhile family also owns title such as Kanwar. Therefore, people refer to them as Kanwar Sahab.[1] It is mainly found in Haryana, Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh states.[citation needed]
