Denis Du Bois

Denis Du Bois is president of P5 Group, Inc., a marketing consulting firm he co-founded in 1998, where he advises B2B software clients on Marketing Communications. He is Chair Emeritus of the MIT Enterprise Forum Northwest. He founded the nonprofit Energy Priorities Magazine in 2004, and also writes the Energy Blog at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. From 2005-2015 he hosted podcasts and radio specials distributed by NPR. His articles have appeared in publications ranging from the New York Times to Home Power to Greentech Media. He founded the nonprofit Freelance-Seattle in 2000, a network of independent consultants that later merged with Freelancers Local. In 1994 he founded the outdoors site CoolTrails.com and operated it for 12 years before it was acquired. He started writing professionally in 1984, and served for a time as Managing Editor of a monthly technical journal.
