User:Tangobot

This user account is a bot operated by Tangotango (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. This bot does not yet have the approval of the community, or approval has been withdrawn or expired, and therefore shouldn't be making edits that appear to be unassisted except in the operator's or its own user and user talk space.
Administrators: if this bot is making edits that appear to be unassisted to pages not in the operator's or its own userspace, please block it.

RfA Analysis Tangobot[edit]

Tangobot updates User:Tangotango/RfA Analysis/Report (every half past the hour) and Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard/RfA Report (every hour on the hour).

These functions run from the m:Toolserver.

Interwiki Tangobot[edit]

Tangobot runs interwiki.py from the pywikipedia framework to maintain interwiki links between the English and Japanese Wikipedias. It will remain manually assisted for the time being.

This feature is currently not in active use.

This bot is maintained by Tangotango. If it runs into problems, please contact me via IRC (I will be online while running the latter functions of the bot), or in extreme cases, please feel free to block it.
