References

[edit]

List your references as follows: <ref>{{cite book |last = Shukumine |first = Seiken |title = ''新空手道教範'' or "Shin Karate-dō Kyōhan" |date = 1964 }}</ref> (this is an example[1]).

If you want to refer to the same reference more than once in an article, you can use: <ref name="Looking back">{{cite book |last = Taniguchi |first = Koichi |title = ''"Genseiryu Karatedo to Taido no sosaku wo kaerimiru"'' or "Looking back at the creation of Genseiryu Karatedo and Taido" |date = 2005 }}</ref> [2]. Then, when you want to cite the source again, you simply use: <ref name="Looking back"/> (don't forget the forward slash!)[2].

To give a references list, use: {{reflist|1}}. That will give this:

  1. ^ Shukumine, Seiken (1964). 新空手道教範 or "Shin Karate-dō Kyōhan".
  2. ^ a b Taniguchi, Koichi (2005). "Genseiryu Karatedo to Taido no sosaku wo kaerimiru" or "Looking back at the creation of Genseiryu Karatedo and Taido".

Or use {{reflist|2}} to make 2 columns as in this example (Karate wiki).
