Your edit to Eastwood City[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added such as to the page Eastwood City do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --- Tito Pao (talk) 01:27, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your revert nonetheless. Per external links policy, "Except for a link to an official page of the article's subject—and not prohibited by restrictions on linking—one should avoid: ... 11. Links to blogs, personal web pages and most fansites, except those written by a recognized authority (this exception is meant to be very limited; as a minimum standard, recognized authorities always meet Wikipedia's notability criteria for biographies)." Eastwood City has its own website, and it isn't clear that the link you posted is the official website or is sanctioned by Megaworld Inc. Self-published material is frowned upon on Wikipedia, and I'm erring on the side of caution by removing the link---most of your edits, as it appear, seem bent on just putting this link on the Eastwood City article; if you're not adding it, you're just undoing other editors' reverts. Thanks. --- Tito Pao (talk) 07:22, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Eastwood City. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Your insistence on putting the links and your "I don't care about SEO" remarks only shows your inability to work constructively as a Wikipedia editor. If you can't do that, stay off WP.--Eaglestorm (talk) 14:36, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
