Stone is god and is the best gift to us.Use it as such.[edit]

Kalla poojepevu Naavu,(stone is worshipped by us)In India since ancient times black stone is believed to give and take ganas(energy),so it is used to make Idols of Gods.Karnataka is blessed with good deposits of black coloured basic charnockites, which is being used for low value items.Instead it should reserved to make idols, temples and monuments.

Stone is the best known natural composite, which can withstand all time and weathering. Is it not ecofriendly to plan and cut the stone in the quarry itself by using latest designing tools and CAD,instead of crushing it and mixing it to make concrete.Infact other than being ecofriendly structures built using just stone is economical, almost infinite life, requres no steel or paints and hence again scores on pollution,It also in keeping fungus and other mites away.

Black stone can be landmarks in Deserts and where there is snowfall.Polished stone is ideal for roofs and granite is easy to maintain if used for footpaths and walkways in cold countries.
Dimensionaly cut slabs can be used for airport runways in tough climates to reduce maintanance. It can also be used as flooring in sports courts. In India NGO's are building houses for poor costing within $4000/,It can be done better by just using Gods gift(stone)it will not require any other tiles.
