Do these vehicles have a 4x4 option? I hope so, as the XC90 is a vehicle I plan to buy maybe sometime after college. (The sooner the better however.) --Shultz 18:14, 6 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No, they do not. And your getting an XC90 after you leave collage??? R u serious?? 76.66.181.188 02:07, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong, the XC90 is actually available with AWD, which is now 4WD. Do your research.76.71.214.148 (talk) 22:52, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have one and it's very good. The 4wd is permanent so go for the 2.4 diesel unless money is no object in which case the v8 is best. Great car... just expect some anti 4x4 jerk to run a key down it every now and then. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.221.74.7 (talk) 15:15, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not quite sure where's best to stick the link, but someone created an article for the V8 engine used here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_V8_engine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.1.32.116 (talk) 13:18, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Xc90 V2 T8 tank upgrade

[edit]

Hi

Not too familiar with wikipedia and dont have a citeable source yet, but for MY2019 the XC90 T8 will also receive a 70L tank.

Currently kinda had to verify but will become easier in the coming weeks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.139.40.115 (talk) 19:47, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

MY 2022 Late T8 AKA Extended Range

[edit]

There’s quite a lot of confusion regarding the upgrades to the late model year 2022 changes for the plug-in-hybrid. Not only is the all-electric range according to US standards increased to 35 miles but the overall horsepower and torque is also increased and the gasoline engine is made more efficient. The electric motors increase from around 86 to 145 hp. I just bought one so I did a lot of research on it and noted that this Wikipedia page was not just out of date, but confusing, partially correct in some instances, and the sections are highly slanted toward the options that are available in the particular country of the author and don’t account for all locations.
