White Music is the debut studio album by the English band XTC. It was released on 20 January 1978 and reached No. 38 in the UK album charts. It spawned the singles "Statue of Liberty" (released 6 January 1978) which was banned by the BBC for the line "sail beneath your skirt" and a re-recording of "This Is Pop" (released 21 April 1978).
