Elizabeth Gilligan is a fantasy author who lives in San Francisco, California.[1][2] Her short story Iron Joan was on the preliminary Nebula Award ballot in 2003.[citation needed] Gilligan has served as the secretary for the Science Fiction Writers of America (SFWA) board of directors, and she frequently attends OryCon and BayCon.[2]
