Al-Rantisi Hospital is a children's hospital in north Gaza City. The hospital provided dialysis and other services.[1] During the 2023 Israel-Hamas War, it was evacuated.[2] The Israeli government said that weapons and hostages were kept in the hospital prior to their seizing it.[3] The hospital's pediatric palliative care unit was created by U.S. charity Palestine Children's Relief Fund.[4] Bakr Gaoud was identified as the head of the hospital in November, 2023.[5]
