The 1998-99 NBA season was the Kings' 50th season in the NBA and 14th in Sacramento.[1] The Kings added Chris Webber, and Vlade Divac to their roster, and finished third in the Pacific Division with a 27-23 record. In the Western Conference Quarterfinals, they faced the Utah Jazz. Sacramento would lead the series 2-1, but lost the final two games to Utah.
