The 2007 Radom Air Show crash occurred on 1 September 2007 at the Radom Air Show, near Radom in Poland. The tragedy occurred before about thirty thousand[1] spectators who had gathered to watch aerobatics teams from 16 nations perform their programmes.

Three Zlin Z-526 aircraft from the AZL Żelazny aerobatics team were performing their display. One maneuver involved the three aircraft simultaneously flying toward a central point from different directions. Two of the aircraft, one piloted by Piotr Banachowicz and the other by the group's founder, Lech Marchelewski, struck each other at right angles, demolishing both aircraft and killing both pilots.[2] Both pilots were from the western Polish city of Zielona Góra.[3] No persons were hurt on the ground, but officials stopped the show and declared three days of mourning.
