[edit] Facilities

Armadale is located between Cheel Street and Morey Street, with station access from both.

The station consists of an island layout and two side platforms; Platforms 1 & 4 (side platforms) have semi-large brick buildings, while platforms 2 & 3 (island platform) have a large brick building, all in the middle of their respective platforms. A large Metcard ticket vending machine and a large Myki ticket vending machine are located at the entrance to platforms 2 & 3, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A small coin-only Metcard ticket vending machine sits next to the larger machine. A disused station master's place and booking offices are also located in the footbridge and at the entrance to platform 4. A footbridge is situated at Caulfield end of the station.

Tram route 6 is a short walk from the station, on High Street. Bus route 605 is also a short walk, on Kooyong Road.
