The Battle of Fardykambos was fought between the National Liberation Front of the Greek Resistance against the Italian troops during the Axis Occupation of Greece. Grigoriou, one of the resistance leaders of the battle, was later killed on May 25, 1943. The ELAS and EKA worked together with the residents of Siatista. A large number of weapons and supplies were acquired by the resistance in the successful operation.[1]
