Syncretic political movements are hybrids of disparate political philosophies, such as the People's Mujahedin of Iran, who mix Marxism and Islam, the Third Way, which fuses social-democratic and neoliberal elements, and Christian democracy, which combines conservative ideas with some economically centre-left policies.
