Untitled[edit]

This category has been altered as a result of the discussion archived at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 March 19#Category:Ancient Japan to Category:Classical Japan. Category:Classical Japan has been created to cover the early samurai period of Nara through Heian. The Nara and Heian periods, while definitively different from the periods which followed, also involved the rise of much of what we today consider to be classical or traditional Japanese culture. I hope there is not much opposition to this classification. LordAmeth 03:43, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
