Heartland Region[edit]

In all of the regions currently delineated, none currently include the Counties of Highlands, Hardee, or Okeechobee. These three counties, along with Desoto, Hendry, and Glades County (currently all part of Southwest Florida), should be included in a new region, the Heartland Region. This is not an arbitrary decision on my part, as it has currency in both public and private use. A few references:

I can create the article easily enough, using the other regional entries, but it will require a change to the Southwest Florida article, including a new map, a task for which I am not equipped. Before I start creating new regions, I want to get some from of approval from the WP:Florida project team.
