Central Florida Baseball is an yet-unnamed minor league baseball team that will begin play as a member of the Florida State League in Kissimmee, Florida, in 2017.[1] The team will be the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.[1] They will play their home games at Osceola County Stadium. The team's name will be announced in October 2016 at the conclusion of a name the team contest. The finalists from which the team's name will be selected are: Florida Dragonflies, Florida Fire Frogs, Florida Mud Kickers, Florida Rodeo Clowns, Florida Sorcerers, and Florida Toucans.[2]
The team is the relocation of the Brevard County Manatees.
