[2] Platforms 1 and 2 share the same island platform. Space was reserved for the platforms of the East Kowloon Line when this station was built in the 1970s. This can be seen behind the advertising panels for each platform. The reserved platforms are rugged rocks/stones which remain untrimmed behind the advertising panels. This station will also be a station on the proposed Sha Tin to Central Link (with one new island platform).

Entrances/Exits[edit]

Future development[edit]

Diamond Hill Station will become an interchange station of the East West Corridor and Kwun Tong Line, after the completion of the Hung Hom-to-Tai Wai section of the Sha Tin to Central Link in 2018. The current station will be expanded.
