History

Rohr meets the Empereur

During World War I the forest of Doncourt became the training ground from "Sturm-Bataillon Nr. 5 (Rohr)". This was the only military unit which should be named after their commander during the war. The German Emperor visited Willy Rohr and his batallion on 14 August 1916.
