Chapel Pointe is a non-denominational, multi-campus megachurch headquartered in Hudsonville, Michigan and meeting at three campuses across Michigan.

History[edit]

Originally formed as Christian Fellowship Church in October of 1957 and later renamed Baldwin Street Baptist Church in 1958, Chapel Pointe has a long history in West Michigan. Headquartered in Hudsonville.[1][2], the church is . In 2014, a new vision of Chapel Pointe was established, launching the ministry into a new season.

Leadership[edit]

The leadership team at Chapel Pointe is comprised of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), elders, along with other paid staff. The Lead Pastor is Joel Wayne[3][4]

Locations[edit]

As one church meeting in multiple locations, Chapel Pointe is passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God expand throughout the world. The church is committed to helping communities, existing churches, and people who are far from God respond to God, root them in prayer and the Bible, and equip them as disciples of Jesus.

Hudsonville, MI[edit]

In October 1957, Chapel Pointe began as Christian Fellowship Church.

Byron Center, MI[edit]

On November 5, 2023, Chapel Pointe opened a campus in Byron Center, Michigan[5]. Located just South of M6 between US 131 and the Byron Center Avenue exit, the Byron Center Campus is a multigenerational church family.

Holt, MI[edit]

Through a meaningful connection with the formerly known Cedar Street Church in Holt, Michigan, the congregation decided to merge with Chapel Pointe in 2023.
