In November 2020, Gauthmath was developed and founded in Singapore.[citation needed]
In October 2022, Gauthmath launched 1-on-1 math tutoring service (reported 24*7 available[3]).
Features[edit]
Gauthmath is an online platform which enables students at middle schools, high schools, and universities to ask, search, and receive answers to a wide range of math questions such as: algebra, geometry, words problem and etc.[4]
Function[edit]
Gauthmath uses AI powered calculator (answer engine) and provides the answer with steps after the user uploads the question.
The platform searches for similar math problems in database and displays search results with answers if a math problem cannot be solved.
In case there is no similar question already asked, the user can submit the question and get the answer from a live tutor within 1-15 minutes.[3]
Method[edit]
A user can ask the question either using the keyboard or by snapping & uploading a photo taken with a mobile phone camera[5]. An extension is also available for users who use Chrome browsers, allowing them to make screenshots and upload images to get answers.
