Mackenzie Thomas is an American artist, writer, and social media personality from Montclair, New Jersey. She is known for her online content where she reads her teenage diary entries.[1]
Early Life and Education[edit]
Mackenzie Thomas spent most of her childhood between New Jersey and North Carolina. Thomas is of mixed-race descent, with a black mother and a white father. Thomas became a daily internet user at the age of 7 after her babysitter showed her how to use Youtube.[2]
Thomas graduated from Emerson College in 2021 with a degree in Comedic Arts.[3]

In 2019, Thomas attended Lori Loughlin's hearing for the Varsity Blues Scandal and pleaded for Loughlin to pay for her college tuition as she walked into court. The clip became synonymous with the hearing and was featured on CNN and Fox. When asked why she did this, Thomas said that she just "wanted some of Lori's coin"[4]
In 2022, Thomas gained a modest following on TikTok for her comedic videos.
