Mad Monster[edit]

Mad Monster was founded in 2010 as a tribute to John P. McGarr who played the character Barlow in the film "House of the Wolf Man". Barlow is the Mad Monster mascot.

Mad Monster Party[edit]

Mad Monster Party is a Horror, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy themed convention that brings the world’s top genre celebrities and vendors together with their fans to trade stories, attend informative panels, buy autographs, fun merchandise, as well as visit with old friends and meet new like minded patrons.

The first Mad Monster Party was March 23rd-25th, 2012. Mad Monster Party has hosted many notable first-time convention appearances including Stefan Kapičić, Damien Leone, David Howard Thornton, and Oscar-Winner Kevin Spacey

The convention pioneered greenscreen costume photo ops with the first costume photo ops of Kane Hodder as Jason Voorhees, Doug Bradley as Pinhead, David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown, Stephen Geoffreys as Evil Ed, Gunnar Hansen, Bill Johnson and R.A. Mihailoff as Leatherface, Bill Moseley as Chop Top, Patty Mullen as Frankenhooker, as well as many others.

Mad Monster Party has hosted shows in North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona, Louisiana, Washington, Georgia as well as a True Crime show, Mad Mobster, in Illinois.
