"Fire in Space" is an episode of the original Battlestar Galactica television series.
The Cylons damage Galactica with suicidal attacks. Fires erupt around the ship, trapping various crewmembers in certain situations and injuring Commander Adama. Boomer, Athena, Boxey and other crew members are trapped in the rejuvination center and the air is getting thin. After some failed attempts, Starbuck and Apollo manage to damage the ship so that lack of air puts out the fire. Muffy risks life and limb to gain air masks for the endangered crew. Adama soon recovers from his injuries.
- This episode served as a subplot in the Battlestar Galactica miniseries when the Galactica is hit by two kamikaze Cylon Raiders causing a fire across several decks. The fire is quickly put out by decompressing the afflicted sections.
