Story starts with Madhav (Arshad Warsi) pranking students to write fake papers. Laxman (Kunal Kemu) and dumb Lucky (Tushar Kapoor) pursue the other students by announcing their fake success and the trio gain money. Meanwhile, three robbers — Puppy (Johny Lever), Daga (Sanjay Mishra) and Teja (Vrajesh Hirjee) — rob the queen necklace and run away from police. Puppy who has a short term memory loss hides the necklace in Madhav, Lucky, Laxman's father Pritam's (Mithun Charkaborty) house. Pritam is a school bus driver but is always threatened from a gang leader to return the loan which was taken by his three good-for-nothing children.

The guests point at Gopal and Gopal who does not like anyone pointing breaks the guest's finger.

Meanwhile, Vasooli (Mukesh Tiwari) who is the landlord for this asks money from Gopal, Laxman and Daboo. Daboo fools Vasooli and makes him call the police which later screams at Vasooli. Vasooli has a crush on Chintu (Ashwini Kaleskar) who is no one but Daboo's sister that forces him to leave Daboo.

That night, in the casino Lucky while playing pool by mistake strikes the bool on Daboo. Daboo calls Gopal and Laxman to fight with Lucky. Lucky tries to apologise but Daboo takes it as an insult as Lucky is dumb. He then calls Laxman and Madhav. Madhav and Gopal later get involved in a verbal fight. The casino guards don't like the verbal fight and point at them. Gopal gets angry and defeats the guards.

Next morning, Madhav and his brothers too open a water sporting activity on Puppy's loan. Puppy becomes the first guest but Gopal and his partners do not like Madhav opening a water activity so they put glue stick on the jet. Unable to control Puppy destroys both water sports activites.

Pritam unhappily goes to meet Gopal's mother Geeta. When Pritam sees Geeta (Ratna Pathak) he is shocked that she was his lost love. He remembers Prem Chopra, Geeta's father, who stopped the disco dancer to marry his daughter. He also asked Pritam to get lakhs to marry Geeta in 6 months but he fails. However, they fight after remembering themselves. Daboo, however, sees the conversation and determines to get them married. The next morning both the groups open a cracker store but they both fail to succeed. In an another meet of Pritam and Geeta they reveal that Gopal, both the Laxmans, Madhav and Lucky are orphans and both of them are unmarried. They make Daboo promise not to tell them about their parents. Daboo manages to get both of them married and there is another physical fight between both the groups. Next morning, much to Madhav's disgust Pritam moves to Geeta and Gopal's house. When they reach Gopal and Laxman are forced to move in the store room. In few days Pritam is targeted by Gopal and Laxman's pranks. On Daboo's birthday too Gopal forces Madhav to hit Vasool but Madhav is shocked after seeing the surprise party. Even Vasooli is shown to be with Chintu.

Then Pritam and Madhav too join the attack. However, Geeta is hit and Gopal comes and saves his mother. In the house Gopal is furious at Pritam and Madhav for the loans. In the night, Lucky hears Geeta, Pritam and Daboo that they are orphan. Lucky unites everybody and tells them that they are orphan. Daboo comes and confirms the news. They all are now united and next morning the newly married couple are surprised to see them united. In the end, the united family open a toy store after loans from Vasooli and Puppy. Puppy tries to recognise Pritam at the inauguration. When they all dance and celebrate Puppy remembers and accuses Pritam as the thief of the necklace.
