Great Lies to Tell Small Kids (2005) is Andy Riley's third book of cartoons, following his bestsellers The Book of Bunny Suicides and Return of the Bunny Suicides.

Another volume of cartoons in the same vein followed in October 2006, Loads More Lies to Tell Small Kids.[1]

[edit] Overview

The book contains numerous lies to tell small children, all accompanied by black and white line sketches in a similar vein to The Book of Bunny Suicides. Examples of the lies include "Wine makes mummy clever" and "Milk feels pain". These cartoons and captions are implausibly absurd, like those in the "Bunny Suicides" books. Brian Donaldson writing in The List said the sequel "might make you feel like it’s The Far Side rewritten by Chris Morris."[1]
